6 reasons everyone should paint their house pastel colours!

Over the past several months I have become addicted to pastel colours, especially when used in architecture! My favourite are green and pink (totally different to my favourite non-pastel colours!); what are yours? Here are 6 reasons everyone should paint their houses pastel colours!

1) Pastel colours are pretty and look nice! I think earth colours/brick are so ugly, boring, outdated and dumb looking.

3) People claim it affects the re-sale value, but if your house looks nice on the inside and on the outside, it will still sell. Also, if a couple are choosing between 3 houses, yours (pastel) and others (earth colours), yours will stand out more!
4) You will brighten up your neighbourhood! Everybody will know of your house and everybody that drives past will think you're super cool and artistic.
5) I've heard (especially in the U.S) that if you make your house look significantly "different" e.g. through colour or design, it annoys your neighbours. Therefore, if you dislike your neighbours, painting your house a pretty pastel colour is a great idea!
6) The rest of your property can be boring or ugly, and nobody will care (and nor should you), because the outside looks ugly.
